    On Nov. 11, 2022, --- Color supplier GNT announced securing FDA approval for the use of spirulina extract in beverages, enabling vibrant blue shades while maintaining a clean label. The company has developed a patented formulation technology that stabilizes temperature and acid content in spirulina extract when mixed in beverages. The move comes at the right time when there is a rising consumer interest in Spirulina that has increased exponentially over the past decade.
