October 2023- A prominent producer of highly advanced plastic sheet products, Vycom®, has announced its return to PRINTING United 2023 with its thriving Vycom Recycling Program, where unprinted and printed acrylic scraps & trim and rigid PVC are reclaimed and repurposed. Guests are persuaded to stop by the Vycom booth B9073 at PRINTING United to be carried out in Atlanta, October 18-20, 2023. The desired selection bins will be located in select exhibitors' booths such as Zünd, CET Color, Trotec Laser, Cutworx, Mimaki, Kongsberg/MultiCam, and Fujifilm to gather acrylic scraps & trim and rigid PVC as an element of their demonstrations. Operating with the official event services provider for PRINTING United 2023, Shepard, the elements will be gathered from the bins and sent to Return Polymers, a pioneer in PVC recycling and processing. As they perform the material collection part of the Vycom Recycling Program, which began in May 2022, Vycom has gathered nearly 6,500 pounds of material from three signage and graphics trade exhibits. He further added that rigid PVC is a performance plastic material in a category by itself as it's directly printable, formable, and instantly recyclable without any of the worries the market has related to flexible vinyl, like the inclusion of adhesives or scrim.
