Automotive Coolant Aftermarket Latest Company Updates:

    April 2023

The launch of 250 new auto parts has been announced by Dorman Products Inc. The factory version's plastic connector, which is prone to cracking and leaking over time, is not as reliable as the aluminium connector found on the Dorman OE FIX engine coolant reservoir hose (626-749), which is made by Dorman. The new hose is designed to swap out worn-out hoses on Ford F-250 through F-450 trucks from 2017 to 2019 that have 6.7L diesel engines. These trucks are frequently utilised in situations where downtime is not an option, such as first-responder emergency vehicles.

In the domestic aftermarket, Tier 1 supplier Lumax Auto Technologies introduces a new line of coolants and lubricants for all vehicle segments. The company claims that India is experiencing a rapid potential and demand for high-performance and energy-efficient coolants and lubricants due to the significant growth of the automotive industry.

The new products will be distributed through a market network of more than 340 channel partners of LATL's After Market Division (AMD) and available through all 25,000 retail partners. This launch is consistent with the strategic goal of the Lumax-DK Jain group's aftermarket division, which aims to double its turnover through ongoing product expansion.

The engine oil range is divided into two variants: the "Ultra" range, which uses mineral base oil and a Group 2 base oil blend to improve power, performance, and pick-up; and the "Supreme" range, which uses synthetic oil mixed with Group 3 base oil and high-tech additives imported from the United States. The mineral oils classified as Grades 2 and 3 prolong engine life by lowering exhaust emission levels.
