    April 2023

The popularity of in-dash audio/video receivers has increased as more people look to equip their cars with a convenient and easy-to-use touch + voice user interface (UI) akin to what they find on smartphones. The DMH-ZF8550BT, the newest in-dash receiver from Pioneer Corporation, a pioneer in aftermarket mobile electronics, boasts an advanced 9-inch large-screen display and is compatible with multiple automotive connectivity solutions, such as Bluetooth, Android AutoTM, Apple CarPlay, and WebLink. Furthermore, because of its universal 1-DIN size chassis and 9-inch display, which can be installed as a floating type that protrudes from the dash1 or as an in-dash type that mounts flush in the radio location of compatible vehicles or installation dash kits2, the DMH-ZF8550BT's unique design greatly increases installation flexibility.

The integrated Bluetooth wireless connectivity, which enables convenient hands-free calling and music streaming with compatible Bluetooth-enabled devices, is one of the main features. Up to 5 smartphones can be pre-registered by users, which removes the need to pair and unpair devices and allows music and/or hands-free calling from any previously paired phones.
