    Latest Company Updates:

    July 2023

Aisin, a well-known worldwide Tier 1 automotive supplier, and the leading Tier 2 in 4D imaging radar, Vayyar, are collaborating to put cutting-edge sensors in Japanese kindergarten buses to prevent children from dying from vehicular heatstroke after being left behind.

Child Presence Detection (CPD) equipment will now be used on tens of thousands of buses that take kids to kindergartens, nurseries, hybrid "kodomoen" facilities, special needs schools, and nursery nurseries for kids with disabilities.

    April 2023

Continental, a technology business, added a Child-Presence-Detection function (CPD) to its CoSmA digital access system to increase passenger safety. The temperature inside a car can rise to 45 degrees in less than 30 minutes while the outside temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.

The already existing CoSmA UWB Digital Access Solution, which enables drivers to use their smartphone as a car key for hands-free access, has CPD effortlessly integrated into it. The UWB system is operating in what is known as reflection mode to be able to identify kids who were left behind. As a result, it gets its own transmitted UWB signals in response to an object's tiny movements. The distance and speed of a moving target can be determined by spotting a change in the frequency or phase of a returning signal.

Passengers can be classified as infants, children, or adults using the CPD with UWB system based on specific breathing rates and micro-body movements. The CPD system can inform the driver within ten seconds at the latest if children are left unattended in the vehicle via an auditory, visual, or tactile alert.
