    Latest Company Updates:

Oct. 12, 2023- NEC Corporation announced the development of a 150 GHz transmitter IC chip and supporting technologies to be used beyond 5G and 6G mobile access radio communication systems. 150 GHz antenna-on-chip transmitter IC chip is the first demonstration of preferred beam steering performance with 4-channel Antenna-on-Chip (AoC) IC technology using on the Air (OTA) radiation pattern measurement.

July 03, 2023- Researchers at ETH Zürich, Empa, ICFO, and National Institute for Materials Science, Japan, announced the development of a unique antenna for light sources on a chip using an unusual placement of a semiconductor material. Modern data transmission is based, among other things, on the fact that information can be sent quickly through optical fibers in the form of light beams.

Mar. 14, 2023- TMY Technology Inc. (TMYTEK), a leading provider of MM-wave solutions, announced a partnership with Celanese, a global chemical and specialty materials company, to showcase innovative ultra-low SWaP ESA Solution with antenna-on-chip (AoC) at Satellite 2023. The new AoC technology is made with Micromax (formerly DuPont MCM) GreenTape low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC).

Feb.08, 2023- STMicroelectronics announced the expansion of its range of single-chip antenna-matching ICs that simplify RF circuit designs. The device simplifies RF-circuit design with two new devices optimized for BlueNRG-LPS system-on-chip ICs (SoCs) and STM32WB1x and STM32WB5x wireless microcontrollers. ST's MLPF-NRG-01D3 and MLPF-WB-02D3 integrate the complete filtering and impedance-matching network needed for best RF output power and receiver sensitivity with an external antenna.

Jan.25, 2023- Gogo indicated that the development of the chipset for its onboard modem had passed a critical design review stage and moved into fabrication, and delivery is expected mid-year. In addition to the modem chips production, the company will likely bring its updated services online by the end of Q4 2023. Gogo also confirms that the Certification (STC) for the 5G belly-mounted MB13 antennas and the X3 (5G) LRU has been completed.
