These functions are essential to the operation of both military and commercial aircraft as well as helicopters. Safran would have access to a comprehensive range of competencies and products from Collins' actuation and flight control business, allowing the Group to establish itself as a top integrated player with a comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end actuation & flight control products.
June 2023- - At the Paris Air Show recently, Supernal LLC (the Company) and UMBRAGROUP announced their continuous collaboration to take advantage of cutting-edge technology to improve flight control operations in the electric vertical take-off & landing (eVTOL) vehicles. The actuators & motor control electronics required to implement a secure system architecture for Supernal's upcoming vehicles—which the company intends to introduce for commercial flight in 2028—will be provided by UMBRAGROUP. April 2023- Toyota Motor Corporation Inc. has inked a long-term agreement to supply essential powertrain and actuation components for the Company's aircraft production. Joby Aviation, Inc. is a company developing the all-electric aircraft for the commercial passenger service. The deal expands on the long-standing cooperation between Toyota and Joby, which has seen the two businesses work together on numerous projects to support the manufacture and assembly of Joby aircraft, including providing design advice for Joby's pilot production line located in Marina, California.
