On Nov. 24, 2020, Vedantu, an Indian interactive online tutoring platform, announced its partnership with Airtel Digital for two dedicated DTH channels. Vedantu Master Classes would be available exclusively to Airtel Digital TV customers with two dedicated channels.


At Vedantu, teachers provide tuition to students over the Internet, using a real-time virtual learning environment named WAVE, a technology built in-house. On May 27, 2019, Canal+ (France), a premium television channel owned by Vivendi, announced the acquisition of international pay-TV operator M7 group from private-equity investor Astorg Partners. The deal is said to be closed at just over €1 BN in a move that significantly ramps up the pay TV outfit's efforts in the international markets.


Canal+ and M7 Group share complementary European footprints. M7 offers satellite pay TV and hybrid & OTT TV services in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, with over €400 MN in revenues.
