August 2023: Dash Rehab, a mobility equipment supplier, has announced the release of the Robooter E40, the company's second smart powered wheelchair. The E40 is a 4mph manual-fold powered aluminum wheelchair that can be operated with a smartphone and includes built-in functions. These features include the option to alter the voice on the chair to that of a family member, as well as power settings. A 'fault detect' function indicates whether the chair has a problem, and the end-user can receive useful information via an app. The E40 motorized wheelchair has a sleek and elegant appearance and comes with rear pneumatic tires and honeycomb PU front castors. Lighting in the front and back of the chair, an ergonomically built backrest and seat, and luxurious leather armrests make navigation easier.

June 2023: Jin Medical International Ltd., a Cayman Islands holding company with Chinese operational companies that manufacture and develop wheelchairs and living assistance products, announced the debut of a new lightweight electric wheelchair model and an electric mobility vehicle model for the elderly today. The two new models were created in partnership with Nanjing Tech University, a top-tier university with over 100 years of history that is well-known in China for its engineering training programs. JinMed is in charge of developing and producing the new models' electrical components, while NJTech is in charge of the new models' aesthetic and industrial design. The new vehicles are slated to go on sale this year through a variety of channels, including internet platforms and authorized dealerships in both China and abroad markets.
