Top Industry Leaders in the Electrical Hospital Beds Market

-
August 2022: Dozee, an Indian provider of linked health devices, has teamed up with Midmark India, the largest manufacturer of hospital beds in South Asia, to introduce a connected bed platform for use outside of intensive care units. Their smart bed will allow for continuous monitoring of patients outside of intensive care units. In order to monitor a patient's vitals, such as their heart rate, breathing rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and electrocardiogram (ECG), the linked bed incorporates Dozee's AI-powered contactless sensor, which is put under the mattress. In addition, it contains a warning system to let medical staff intervene before it's too late. The hospital's HMIS and command center can both be linked to the smart bed. Dozee asserts that their RPM sensor, driven by AI, achieves 98.4 percent accuracy at the clinical level. Dozee estimates that 95% of these beds have insufficient monitoring, making it harder to see signs of a patient's health worsening in time.
- The Godrej group's parent company, Godrej & Boyce, announced that its subsidiary Godrej Interio, the market leader in India's residential and commercial furniture markets, has introduced an innovative line of platform beds.
