Flex Seal has launched Flex Super Wide Duct Tape, the newest product in the Flex Seal family. This high-quality duct tape can be torn by hand and has a strong, reinforced backing that resists water. The ultra-wide sizing of Flex Super Wide Duct Tape sets it apart from other duct tapes. Currently, this product is offered in two widths: 4.6" wide, 144% wider than standard 1.88" wide duct tape, and 7.5" wide, 300% wider than standard 1.88" wide duct tape. With their 20-foot lengths, both options offer an ample amount of product for a variety of tasks.
It adheres to metal, glass, PVC, and other materials; it is removable and repositionable; and it is resistant to water, weather, and UV rays.

Together, Tamperguard, a company that provides tamper-evident solutions, and Futamura, a manufacturer of cellulose films, have developed a tamper-evident tape that makes use of Futamura's NatureFlexTM film, which is purportedly compostable and renewable.
It seems that if the tape is attempted to be removed, interference will be indicated by a non-stick "void" message appearing on the surface. The adhesive of the tape sticks to the surface, protecting the contents and preventing resealing.
Futamura claims that its NatureFlex films satisfy international standards for industrial composting, such as BS EN 13432 and ASTM D6400, and are made from renewable wood pulp from plantations with a PEFC certification. The film's antistatic qualities can be helpful for thin films in tape applications for automatic case sealer machines, and the company claims that the films are certified by TÃœV Austria for backyard composting.
