  • EXPANSION OF THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY

The food and beverage industry are a major driver of the flexible paper market, accounting for a substantial share of its growth. As consumers become more environmentally conscious, there is a growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions. Flexible paper packaging offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic packaging, appealing to brands aiming to enhance their sustainability profiles. This shift is particularly evident in Europe, where over 57.3% of the flexible laminated paper market is attributed to the food sector, driven by consumer preferences for recyclable and biodegradable materials.
