Hepatobiliary IminoDiacetic Acid (HIDA) scan is a diagnostic imaging test used to evaluate the function of the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. During the test, a radioactive tracer is injected into the patient, and a gamma camera captures images as the tracer moves through the liver and bile ducts.
