Industrial Insulation Market
November 2023- Rex Sealing and Packing Industries Limited informed that Ms. Shruti Acharya has conveyed her decision to resign as the Company Secretary of the Company due to personal reasons with effect from November 27, 2023.
August 2023 – On August 17, Honeywell disclosed that Saudi Arabia-based appliance producer Al-Essa Industrial Company has deployed Honeywell Solstice® Liquid Blowing Agent(LBA) for use in the insulation of its products. Honeywell Solstice LBA will help Al-Essa Industrial Company phase out higher-global warming potential (GWP) solutions that contribute to climate change in line with Saudi Arabia's climate objectives while also ensuring it maintains compliance with regulations in the Kingdom. Saudi Arabia has a target to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, and under the Saudi Green Initiative, it intends to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 278 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by 2030. Honeywell's Solstice LBA supports these objectives as an ultra-low-GWP alternative to traditional hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) such as HCFC-141b, which is banned in Saudi Arabia. HCFCs are sometimes used in foam, refrigeration, and air conditioning applications but deplete the protective ozone layer and contribute to climate change. Alternative hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) solutions are also potent greenhouse gases and do not meet energy regulations. With a GWP of 1 99.9% lower than HFC blowing agents, Solstice LBA will enable Al-Essa Industrial Company to meet energy standard requirements for exports in Saudi Arabia and other countries.
November 2023- None of the 24 industrial "peak polluters" identified by public health institute RIVM have agreed to limits on nitrogen emissions, a year after the cabinet promised to tackle them, an investigation by broadcaster NOS has shown. In November last year, the cabinet said it would enter talks with industry as well as farmers to come to agreements to cut emissions. The ministry originally estimated some 50 to 60 industrial polluters would figure on the list, but that was later scaled down to 24, including Tata Steel, BP, chemicals companies, and two Vattenfall energy plants. None of the 24 have so far entered into hard and fast agreements to limit emissions despite assurances from nitrogen minister Christianne van der Wal
