    • Oct 2023: A new business partnership between Vaxcyte and Lonza pertains to the worldwide production of broad-spectrum pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCVs). The new agreement, which builds on an earlier partnership, will allow Vaxcyte's PCV candidates, VAX-24 and VAX-31, to be commercialized globally for adult and pediatric populations. This arrangement backs Vaxcyte's plan to use Lonza's current infrastructure for clinical research and the impending adult VAX-24 launch in the US. Vaxcyte will have access to a specially designed manufacturing suite from Lonza as part of its Ibex Dedicate Biopark at its Visp, Switzerland, location. The suite will be utilized to create necessary parts for the PCV franchise owned by Vaxcyte. With VAX-24 nearing late-stage clinical studies, Vaxcyte's production facility will assist in meeting the long-term worldwide market demands for adults and children.
