Oct 2023: According to a news release, Bausch + Lomb introduced SeeNa, an ocular diagnostic device for refractive cataract practices related to the US Eyetelligence surgery planning software. According to the announcement, SeeNa measures nine essential parameters for assessing patients' eyes to estimate IOL power and forecast lens location. The integrated system's user-friendly interface makes it simple to input patient measures and access all required data in one location, resulting in a "seamless" data flow from the office to the operating room. This simplifies information management and surgical planning. SeeNa offers busy refractive cataract offices a new option to increase the effectiveness of surgery planning. In only a few steps, surgeons can collect vital measures, and the Eyetelligence software's integrated connectivity combines these pieces of information to assist in reducing the need for various papers, save time and prevent data loss.

On the materials created for the City Council at the time, Alcon stated that, between now and June 2028, the company intends to invest roughly $153 million in its manufacturing activities. Alcon may get up to $1.25 million over five years if approved as an enterprise zone.
