October 2023- An international producer of steel pipes and related services, Tenaris, has made a substantial step with its current acquisition of the oil and gas division of isOplus. The contract, worth around USD 10 million, allows Tenaris ownership of isOplus's pre-insulated pipeline systems for anti-corrosion and district heating coatings in Europe. After the acquisition, the business unit was renamed Tenaris Coating Italy, focusing on offering anti-corrosion coatings specifically intended for oil and gas pipelines. As per the Vice President of Line Pipe and Process at Tenaris and President of the newly formed company, Andrea Previtali, the planned investment strengthens Tenaris's contributions in the offshore market. The approach will assist Tenaris in lowering delivery times, guaranteeing high and consistent quality standards, reducing logistical costs, and lessening the environmental footprint. The anti-corrosion coating can now be applied to line pipes at Tenaris's plants in Italy, Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil.
