    • March 2022: Transvaginal suspension system Desara® TVez is designed to treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in females. During surgical procedures, the device enhances the efficacy of instruments and implants and increases the flexibility of the surgeon. Caldera Medical, a medical device corporation based in the United States, expanded the Desara® family of products to include the Desara® system, which is designed to treat female SUI and other pelvic health disorders. The mesh implant of the Desara TVez sling system is equipped with encapsulated dilator tips to facilitate finer tissue passage. Additionally, the system features an EZ Tab for easy removal and a disposable introducer. Desara® TVez implants manufactured by Caldera are designed for use in conjunction with the Caldera Medical introducer that is included with the implant.



    • A company press release states that Hologic intends to introduce the NovaSure V5 global endometrial ablation (GEA) device, which is designed to treat abnormal uterine bleeding, during the 50th Global Congress of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), which will be held in Austin, Texas, from November 14-17, both virtually and in person. Since its initial approval by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States in 2001, the NovaSure system has been implemented to treat more than three million patients as of 2018. In addition to accommodating various cervical canal diameters, the device is intended to promote physician comfort and discretion
