A definitive agreement has been signed by Modine, a global manufacturer of thermal management technology and solutions, to sell three of its German-based businesses to Regent LP affiliates. Wackersdorf, Pliezhausen, and Neuenkirchen are the locations of the companies. Depending on regulatory approval, the sale is anticipated to close within the next few weeks.

In Europe, the companies produce charge air cooler modules, radiators and exhaust gas recirculation coolers for use in internal combustion automobile engines. The businesses' combined revenue in FY 2023 was in the $80-$90 million range.

    January 2023

The first generation engine from Chery, model number G4G15, has successfully exited the production line. In 2023, the updated engine will be mounted on the new mass production model.

The G4G15 engine can optimise weight by 30%, reduce fuel consumption by more than 12%, and increase torque at low speeds by more than 10% by utilising advanced technologies like exhaust gas recirculation, dual thermostats, stratified cooling of the cylinder block and head, and Miller cycle engines. Chery's engines have been exported to the US (John Deere, etc.), Turkey, Germany, Japan (Kawasaki, etc.), and other nations and regions thanks to their potent technology.

Chery has achieved a remarkable feat in selling its products in over 80 countries and regions worldwide, with a cumulative sales volume of over 11,200,000 units, all thanks to its focus on engine research and development. Due to its developed automotive industry and tolerance for new technologies, Australia has become a competitive market for global auto brands.
