For projects requiring fastening on steel, Hilti North America has introduced the FX 3-A Cordless Stud Fusion System. A new cordless stud fusion device called the FX 3-A is intended to speed up welding. There are no power wires required for this equipment because it is completely mobile and autonomous.
In comparison to earlier Hilti products, the FX 3-A covers heavier loads and thinner foundation materials. The fastening method also helps protect users from heat and gas since there are almost no sparks, splatters, or fumes produced, and no angle grinder is required for surface preparation.

The new 80V XGT cordless demolition hammer from Makita has been released. The 80V maximum (40V maximum X 2) XGT Brushless 28-lb. For heavy-load applications, there is a cordless concrete solution called Demolition Hammer (GMH02Z, tool only). It meets corded-device requirements for power, speed, and runtime without a cord. Â
The tool has Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) for less vibration and is made to take SDS-MAX bits. AVT is an internal counterbalance that actively lowers vibration by using air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston. Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is designed to be dust and water-resistant for increased durability in demanding job site circumstances.
Bluetooth technology is used by the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) to wirelessly turn on and turn off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. As soon as the AWS connection is established, the AWS-equipped dust extractor will automatically turn on or off in response to the start or stop of the AWS-equipped cordless tool, operating only when the tool is being used. Â
