    • Jan 2023: The Swiss dental device manufacturer Straumann Group and CareStack, an Indian and US-based startup developing cloud dental software, have finalized a strategic equity investment round and a commercial agreement. The purchase price has not yet been revealed. CareStack currently provides services to more than 1,000 dental practices in the US. With the additional funding, it intends to fulfill its five-year goal to digitize ten thousand dental practices. The two businesses will collaborate on software product development and internationalization after their alliance to deepen their penetration into various geographies. With its software solutions, CareStack, founded in 2015, hopes to promote the expansion of the dental community, which includes private practitioners, dental support organizations (DSOs), and dental startups.
