To improve its selection of herbs, Olam Food Ingredients (OFI), a firm that produces ingredients for food and beverages, constructed a new processing facility in Beni-Suef, Egypt, in 2023. According to a statement released by OFI to announce the new facility, Upper Egypt offers perfect growth conditions, making Egypt one of the largest markets for the processing, exporting, and cultivation of herbs. It is anticipated that the plant will process 3,000 metric tonnes of herbs annually, such as dill, parsley, marjoram, fennel, and basil.
The world leader in flavour, McCormick®, unveiled a completely redesigned line of core red cap branded items in 2023. The new bottles, which have been tried and evaluated by customers, go beyond simple packaging changes to fulfil the demand for the freshest herbs and spices to be purchased and used in cooking. Home cooks can rest easy knowing that their bottles are sealed tightly, preserving flavour and freshness in between uses, thanks to the brand's new, iconic SnapTightTM lids.
