The E-Plus, a bi-component, styrene-free, pure epoxy chemical anchor resin, is the latest offering from the Italian company Bossong. It is the company's updated version of its original Epoxy from the 1990s, and its catchy new name is meant to capture 30 years of research and development in the chemical anchor industry.
The E-Plus's 100-year service life, which is twice as long as other products' typical 50-year lifespan and makes it the best option for large applications, is one of its key features. The new resin also satisfies R24 requirements and is fire resistant, making it suitable for use in flooded holes after passing submergence testing.
Because of its effective fluidity and adherence combination, which allows it to achieve up to 2.5 meters of extrusion without expansion or shrinkage, the E-Plus also has a natural ability to penetrate holes and hollow materials. Because of all these qualities, E-Plus can be used on concrete, masonry, and wood in temperatures as high as +50°C while still retaining a firm hold on smooth surfaces like inner core holes. Â

The launch of Novasafe, Induron Protective Coatings' newest product, is announced. Novasafe is a thick-film, ceramic-filled, furfuryl-modified novolac epoxy that is resistant to the harshest conditions found in treatment facilities.
In comparison to traditional epoxies, Novasafe's formulation chemistry is unique in the industry and allows it to accomplish what treatment plant operators need in the most extreme environments with one fewer coat and a thinner film than polyurethane/polyurea. Novasafe's special resin and filler package allows it to achieve this.
September 2022: Solvay has launched LTM 350, a next-generation carbon fiber epoxy prepreg tooling material. It is designed to deliver significant time and cost savings for the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and race car market.
July 2022:Â DIC Corporation acquired Guangdong TOD New Materials Co., Ltd. (also known as, Guandong Frontier New Materials Co., Ltd.), a Chinese coating resins manufacturer. The acquisition will support its expansion plan in the Asian market.
May 2023:Â The demand for epoxy resins in wind turbine manufacturing increased. The growing focus on renewable energy sources led to a rise in wind turbine installations globally. Epoxy resins play a vital role in wind turbine blade construction due to their lightweight, high strength, and excellent adhesion properties. This trend is expected to continue, positively impacting the epoxy resin market
