June 2023- The seeds company Advanta has formed a partnership with nurture.farm to start the Nutrifeed Germination Scheme. This scheme seeks to protect farmers from any failure of forage crop seeds to germinate (Forage Millet Hybrids Nutrifeed). As part of the risk protection, farmers will receive compensation if the seeds for forage crops like sorghum, millet, and corn do not germinate within 15 days after planting. By providing germination risk coverage together with nurture.farm, Advanta is giving farmers confidence that they will be covered if the seeds fail to germinate due to environmental stress.
