Bridgestone Corporation also introduced ECOPIA tires, offering low rolling resistance for better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

Traditional tire manufacturing uses synthetic rubber, containing substances classified as environmental toxins. Green tire manufacturers are replacing synthetic rubber with natural materials like silica and soybean. They are also finding ways to recycle rubber and reduce the use of potentially harmful chemicals in their processes, lessening the environmental impact of tires throughout their lifecycle. Growing awareness of the environmental harm caused by traditional tires is expected to increase the adoption of green tires in the future.

Environmental awareness about tire impact is high in developed regions like Europe and North America. However, in developing regions like Asia-Pacific and the Middle-East & Africa, awareness is lower. Yet, it's expected to rise in developing countries such as India and Japan during the forecast period. Consequently, the influence of environmental awareness on the global green tire market is predicted to shift from low to high in the coming years.
