The Kickstarter campaign for Aizopa, a new kitchen appliance that can produce ice cubes in five minutes, was launched, and in the first five minutes, the funding target was met.
The Aizopa is a unique ice maker that is quiet, portable, user-friendly, energy-efficient, and exceptionally quick. The ultimate ice maker, capable of producing 1,000 cubes per hour, was created by its creators using their combined 15+ years of experience in the field.
With its UV light that makes cleaning simple at the touch of a button, the Aizopa's compact design ensures that it won't take up valuable counter space. Aizopa's newly designed ice-making engine guarantees fresh ice and fresh water every time, and it can hold about 1500 ice cubes in the storage container that comes with it.
In order to create more air pockets and, consequently, nooks and crannies that allow for more insulation to keep ice colder for longer, Aizopa compresses thin flaked ice inside a cylinder shape. As a result, chewing ice becomes easier and softer.

Since its founding in 1983, San Diego Ice Company has been a family-owned company. Easy Ice, the only national supplier of full-service ice machine subscription solutions, has purchased the company's ice machine division. Following the late-year acquisition of Cube Aire, this is Easy Ice's first acquisition of the year and an extension of the company's presence in the San Diego region.
Now that Easy Ice has taken over its ice machine sales, leasing, and service accounts, San Diego Ice Company will only concentrate on producing and delivering ice, as well as merchandising and carving.
