    • Feb 2023: In partnership with Siemens Healthineers, Terumo India, the Indian branch of the Japan-based Terumo Corporation, has launched a first-of-its-kind program for Cathlab Directors that aims to raise standards of care and improve productivity in Cathlabs throughout India. The program is being carried out with Executive Education at the Indian School of Business (ISB ExecEd), one of the world's top business schools. The intensifying incidence of cardiovascular diseases and the technological breakthroughs in medical care drive entrepreneurship in India's healthcare delivery. This is demonstrated by the quick expansion of Cathlabs, which sees the establishment of 200–250 additional labs annually.

    • Sep 2023: The biosimilar of Actemra/RoActemra (tocilizumab) developed by Fresenius Kabi has been given marketing permission by the European Commission (EC). With the approval of both the subcutaneous and intravenous versions, Tyenne, a biologic manufactured by Roche, is the first to be approved by the European Commission. Before, AbbVie's Humira (adalimumab) biosimilar, called Idacio, and Amgen's Neulasta (pegfilgrastrim) copycat, called Stimufend, were approved in Europe by Fresenius Kabi. The business launched its first copycat biologic in the USA this year and is working on further autoimmune and oncology biosimilars. Both are in the late stages of research.
