    Latest Company Updates:

August 2023- Researchers from MIT have shown a supercapacitor that uses inexpensive cement and carbon black, which may result in low-cost storage for renewable energy. The researchers discovered that the two materials can be mixed with water to create a supercapacitor, which is an alternative to batteries and can store electrical energy. The system is highly scalable because the energy storage capacity directly corresponds to the volume of the electrodes. The mixture ratio can be adjusted to tailor the system's properties for a particular application.

June 2023- Researchers at the Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) have created the thinnest, lightest and most biodegradable paper-based supercapacitor. This supercapacitor, which is able to fully charge a device in just 10 seconds, was developed using seaweed (marine macroalgae). According to the scientists, the device has high tensile strength and performance, as well as being cost-effective. The product has potential applications in electronics, memory backup systems, airbags, heavy machinery, electric vehicles, and more. As such, it presents major business opportunities.

April 2023- Scientists at the Indian Institute of Science have developed an innovative, miniscule gadget that can store a huge amount of electrical energy. This ultra-micro supercapacitor is considerably smaller and more compact than current supercapacitors. It has the potential to be utilized in many devices ranging from streetlamps to consumer electronics, electric vehicles and medical equipment. They created their supercapacitor using 'Field Effect Transistors' or FETs to collect the charge, rather than the metal electrodes that are utilized in current capacitors.
