    • July 2023: Palette Life Sciences declared that it has finalized an agreement to be purchased by Teleflex Incorporated for an initial cash payment of $600 million at close, with the possibility of an additional $50 million if specific commercial objectives are met. The transaction is predicted to close in the fourth quarter of 2023, subject to routine closing illnesses, including obtaining certain regulatory clearances. The acquisition has strengthened plans for the worldwide commercial expansion of Palette Life Sciences' range of products based on Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA), such as Barrigel, Deflux, and Solesta. Barrigel's distinctive ability to manage placement and visibility during injection procedures has allowed it to grow significantly in numerous international markets. Deflux and Solesta are tissue products that are likewise based on NASHA.

    • Apr 2023: Positive outcomes from a Phase I/II clinical trial assessing the Provox Life heat and moisture exchanger (HME) in patients after laryngectomy have been announced by Sweden-based Atos Medical. For individuals who have undergone a total laryngectomy—the ablation of the larynx and airway dissociation from the nose, throat, and esophagus—the device is intended to enhance pulmonary health and quality of life. The data analysis demonstrated that switching to Provox Life dramatically improved lung health throughout the trial's first phase. In the second stage, lung health was further enhanced by utilizing the greatest humidification HMEs during the day and at night.
