  Aug 2023: Over a period of two to four years, Bosch Ltd., the Indian division of German car supplier Robert Bosch GmbH, plans to increase manufacturing in India, according to the company's finance chief. The technology supplier intends to decrease its imports of components, which caused a 12% increase in spending on traded products in the previous quarter, by increasing the proportion of goods produced domestically in India. Bosch anticipates growth in sales of around 15% in the upcoming fiscal year because of increased demand in the nation for more expensive cars.

  Oct 2023: With the help of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, the Transport Department, and the Government of the New Capital Territory of Delhi, the Japanese conglomerate Panasonic Holdings Corporation has started a demonstration functioning (pilot run) of an IT system that facilitates last-mile transportation using electric autorickshaws (three-wheelers). The Panasonic HD cloud and smartphone application SOJO will be used for nine months, until June 2024, to gather information on the number of passengers and the effectiveness of electric rickshaws. As part of it, Panasonic HD and ETO Motors, a nearby cooperating business, have worked together to finish the IT system's introduction and have currently begun the demonstration operation.
