Demand-side sources included Chief Information Officers, VP of Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center Operations Directors from hyperscalers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Meta Platforms, Microsoft Azure) and colocation providers (Equinix, Digital Realty), and IT procurement leads from Fortune 500 enterprises in the financial services, telecommunications, and e-commerce sectors. Server configuration preferences were validated across X-86 and ARM/OpenPower architectures through primary research. Direct engagement timelines with ODMs were confirmed, and insights regarding bare-metal provisioning adoption, rack-scale disaggregation trends, open networking integration, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for customized server deployments versus traditional OEM procurement were gathered.
