Coffee drinkers never say no to a good brew of hot coffee as the first thing they do after waking up. Neither deny a coffee date at their favorite coffee shop nor step back to get one cup of cappuccino for themselves. There are more fans of coffee than any other beverage in the market. Thus, the coffee industry is showing a recent hike in consumption statistics.
According to a survey, coffee drinkers in the U.S. drink more than one cup a day; on average more than half of the population consumes three or more cups of coffee. The survey also proved that 57 percent of Americans said coffee is a regularly consumed beverage. As per the reports, 66 percent of Americans drink coffee every day. When it comes to countries that drink the most coffee per capita, the United States ranks 25th. Cappuccinos and lattes are the most popular coffee beverage in the U.S.
Again, other data reveals that U.K.'s new drive-thru coffee market is growing, with Starbucks, LEON, Costa Coffee, and Greggs opening more stores. Canada's Tim Hortons also operates more than 50 in the U.K. As per the survey reports, UK-based SSP aims for 33 percent sales growth in 2023 and a recovery of total revenues in 2024. Again, Dutch Bros targets to reach 800 outlets by the end of 2023 after solid gains in 2022.
The data reveals that Finland leads the world in the consumption of coffee, with 4 cups daily per person. Considering coffee as a pure pleasure, Americans consume 517 million cups of coffee consumption per day.
The growing interest of the world's population towards coffee each year shows that it is a delicious drink. The coffee beverages gaining good popularity makes it a happening global phenomenon.
