Powerhouse in the UK holographics industry Envisics has closed its Series C round with a $100 million financial infusion. The company's technology projects important information straight onto car windscreens, such as safety alerts and navigation signals. Series C's excellent conclusion comes at the right time. The commercial release of Envisics' augmented reality heads-up display (AR HUD) is becoming nearer. It is anticipated that the first car to use Envisics' second-generation screens will be General Motors' electric Cadillac Lyriq.

Additionally, Envisics and Panasonic Automotive Systems have partnered, which should open up more distribution options for Envisics in the automotive industry.

Nippon Seiki, the top manufacturer of information display systems for cars and motorbikes, and FPT Software, a global provider of IT services, signed a collaboration agreement. An MOU signing ceremony in Hanoi where FPT Software was introduced as Nippon Seiki's partner in software development marked the beginning of the collaboration. FPT Software, with its wealth of experience in software development and the automotive industry, will provide platforms and applications for Nippon Seiki's motorcycling meters during the first phase of the collaboration.

Due to rising market demands and global scarcity of automotive software experts, Nippon Seiki, a tier-1 provider of meters and head-up displays (HUD) with a roughly 50% market share worldwide, has been encountering challenges.

By partnering with FPT Software, Nippon Seiki will be able to concentrate on its core hardware development while relying on a dependable, knowledgeable partner for software. This cooperation plans to use the most recent developments in human-machine interfaces and deliver high-tech, high-caliber goods to automakers and consumers globally.
