    • June 2023: The upgraded xCELLigence RTCA Software Pro Version 2.8, a complete software suite for executing and analyzing real-time cell analysis data, has been released, according to US-based Agilent Technologies Inc. Agilent xCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis (RTCA) equipment can be used in GMP-regulated facilities thanks to this enhanced version. The xCELLigence RTCA Software Pro makes data integrity controls possible to comply with the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11 regulations for digital records and electronic signatures, which are crucial for manufacturing pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals. New and improved capabilities guarantee the authenticity, dependability, and trustworthiness of data and electronic records created with xCELLigence RTCA systems and their compliance with GMP production standards.




    • Oct 2023: The global leader in in vitro diagnostics, bioMérieux SA, has invested £70 million in Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc. Oxford Nanopore, which was formed from the University of Oxford lab of Professor Hagan Bayley, has created a real-time DNA/RNA sequencer that can help with precise, quick testing for infectious diseases and cancer. The business services thousands of clients in over 120 countries, representing a broad spectrum of scientific communities. Currently, the French company bioMérieux holds 3.5% of the company's shares, with plans to raise that percentage "from time to time, subject to availability and price." After the businesses announced their alliance in April, the investment aligns with Oxford Nanopore's growing emphasis on clinical markets.
