    • April 2023: The Covid-19 digital companion app, developed by digital health startup Audere, was recently released in South Africa with the intention of giving patients with critical health information and assistance throughout the pandemic. The app provides users with the ability to record and analyze their symptoms, as well as access self-evaluation and telemedicine resources. Digital health solutions are crucial as the epidemic continues to wreak havoc throughout the globe. For example, Audere has developed a mobile app to aid both patients and doctors in controlling the spread of the virus. 




    • January 2023: Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, the industry's preeminent telehealth service provider, revealed its new name: Veradigm. Before becoming a part of AccessDX, Allscripts parted ways with 2bPrecise, an acquisition that specialized in compiling genetic and genomic data from EHRs to further precision medicine efforts. Veradigm, unlike other healthcare technology businesses, provides point-of-care clinical software and patient outreach platforms to healthcare professionals in addition to delivering clinical data for biopharma and health insurance. After two years of internal reorganization, the formerly known health IT company will now operate under a new brand name and provide connection and analytics solutions.




    • January 2023: Holmusk, a global provider of behavioral health real-world evidence and data analytics, reported that Veradigm Inc., formerly known as Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc., had invested $45 million in the firm as part of its series B financing round. Heritas Capital, Health Catalyst Capital, Novartis (dRx Capital), Northwell Holdings (the venture investment arm of Northwell Health), and other previous investors joined the round, which was led by Veradigm.
