Two new 3D printing materials are being introduced by Fortis3D for a variety of industrial uses. The Fortis3D team of scientists and engineers, with a background in polymer engineering, has developed stronger and lower glass fibre content reinforced polyamide (PA), also known as nylon, and polyketone (PK) 3D printing filaments.

The chopped glass fiber-reinforced PA-GF20 and PK-GF20 materials from Fortis3D are designed for 3D printing of high-performance functional parts. Both have greater mechanical strength as well as resistance to chemicals, extreme heat, impacts, and wear, which makes them resilient in harsh conditions. Applications for the materials include fixtures and jigs as well as industrial end-use parts.
