July 2023: As part of the BSV ART Act Readiness Programme, Mumbai-based biopharmaceutical company Bharat Serums and Vaccines has enlisted the help of Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd. (BVIL), a global leader in Audit and Certification Services. This program aims to evaluate more than fifty IVF centers or clinics (during the first six months) and assist them in putting the Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulations, 2021 (the ART Act) into practice, thereby increasing their level of compliance. Before the state authorities' final inspection, BVIL will conduct a thorough survey to evaluate these centers and certify them with a Platinum, Gold, or silver rating based on their preparedness level.

May 2023: The fertility startup AIVF, which delivers AI-powered solutions to IVF clinics, has partnered with Genea Biomedx, a medical equipment supplier to IVF facilities. The EMA platform, which the business claims employs artificial intelligence to evaluate embryo quality during IVF therapy, is the primary offering from AIVF. For the storage of embryos, Genea Biomedx provides their Geri time-lapse incubator. The six distinct compartments in the benchtop incubator allow each embryo to be kept apart, and a camera is positioned in each chamber to track the embryo's development. By integrating imaging and AI-enabled analytics, the cooperation will enable AIVF's EMA platform to be integrated into the Geri time-lapse incubator, increasing the success rate of IVF treatments and providing patients with access to embryo data.
